The founder of Bella Designs developed the DLT after initially 'inventing' the first model out of necessity. Having been gifted a laptop computer, she found it difficult to carry the computer, cords, mouse, and mouse pad from room to room. After fashioning the first model out of cardboard and actually loving how it functioned, she began to research stronger materials. She also decided it would be wonderful to have a product that was nice to look at as well as comfortable to use. Supported by family and friends she developed the DLT into the inspired product that it is now.
Test marketing the product in California, Iowa, Florida, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and New York provided the feedback needed to make the product useful to a wide variety of people.
